PIC12F5xx 8-Bit Microcontrollers
The PIC12F5xx was the first PIC12F MCU range to be introduced and is based upon Microchip뭩 original Baseline architecture. The Baseline architecture provides up to 5 MIPs, no interrupts, up to 2.3Kb program memory and up to 64 Bytes data memory. All PIC12Fxxx MCUs feature internal RC Oscillators with ±1% accuracy; certain variants include comparators, 8-Bit ADCs, mTouch™ channels and RF Transmitters. PDIP, SOIC, MSOP and 2x3 DFN packages are available, and debugging is assisted through use of the following ICD Interface Headers: AC162059 (RS 623-1020), AC162070 (RS 667-7858) and AC162096 (RS 681-0954). Note that PIC12F529 devices are in 14-pin packages to accommodate the RF transmitter.

Microchip뭩 PIC12F Microcontrollers (MCUs) were the world뭩 first 8-Pin microcontrollers. Originally launched as One Time Programmable (OTP) parts, this range of devices continues to expand as Microchip adds extra features, further improves specifications and continues to offer ever greater value. Key to the success of the PIC12F was the internal RC oscillator that allowed six I/O channels in an 8-pin package. Later versions of this RC oscillator are configurable between 31kHz and 32MHz.
